South Plainfield, NJ, April 29, 2013–For the second time, eTeam has been ranked #1 as one of the Best Places to Work in New Jersey.
This survey and award program identifies, recognizes and honors the top places of employment in New Jersey that benefit the state’s economy, its workforce and businesses.
eTeam topped this year’s list due to its support for employees’ body and minds.
Company employees can take advantage of an on-site fitness room, as well as subsidies for joining a gym. In addition, eTeam sponsors group fitness programs and marathon teams. And when they need to flex their brains or spark great ideas, employees can spend time in a vibrant room stocked with electronic gaming equipment.
“We’ve always believed in supporting our employees’ bodies and minds and providing a great work environment where everyone can excel,” said Ben Thakur, President and CEO of eTeam. “We encourage feedback by hosting monthly town hall meetings and my door is always open.”
Companies from across the state entered the two part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in New Jersey. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking.
The overall registration and survey process was managed by Best Companies Group (BCG). BCG also analyzed the data provided and used their expertise to determine the final rankings.
The program sponsors include: MetLife Solutions Group and Gibbons P.C. The program is in partnership with Garden State Council SHRM, The New Jersey State Chamber, Employers Association of New Jersey and the New Jersey Economic Development Authority.
